Patrick Hart

Patrick Hart is our Castleton, NY recipient for the Campaign for Better Hearing Give Back Program. Patrick is a longtime hearing aid user who was diagnosed with hearing loss as a child. He is in need of new hearing aids, as his current aids are over seven years old. Patrick even went several months without one of his aids while he saved up money for new ones. With three school-aged children, as well as working as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader, the ability to hear is important for him, his family, and his entire group of Scouts. HearingLife decided to provide him with brand-new hearing aids, allowing him to hear, and lead, young voices in his community.

Patrick looks forward to hearing the sounds of nature with his new hearing aids. “I remember when I got my very first set of hearing aids and I could hear the peepers and tree frogs again,” said Patrick. “I was amazed to realize they were still making sounds every night. I hadn’t heard them in so long that I thought they all had disappeared.” New hearing aids will allow him to reconnect with his loved ones, as well as his love of nature.
