Meet Johnny Johnson
Johnny Johnson is our Pigeon Forge, TN recipient for the Campaign for Better Hearing Give Back Program. Johnny has lived an exceptional and hardworking life, having worked for decades in mining. After leaving school in the 8th grade to provide for his family, Johnny worked hard all his life to be sure his family had what they needed, later becoming a hog farmer after retiring from mining work.
Both Johnny’s wife and son wear hearing aids, and he puts their health needs before his own. Johnny is currently undergoing evaluations for Parkinson’s disease, and due to this, is unable to afford hearing aids himself.
He is most looking forward to hearing his loved ones, including his 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. New hearing aids will also help to reduce the stress of attending medical appointments, as well as enhance his experience with hobbies, like attending flea markets, auctions, and spending time outdoors with his family.
