Brent Clayson

Dr. Brent Clayson obtained his master’s degree in Audiology from Idaho State University and his Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University in Pennsylvania. Dr. Clayson moved with his young family to British Columbia, Canada, to work in a private audiology practice. He was the sole audiologist and performed diagnostic and hearing aid evaluations on patients of all ages. Dr. Clayson became involved in the provincial Speech and Hearing association, serving as Director of Adult Audiology, Vice President and President of the BC Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. He then went on to work as a diagnostic audiologist in a local hospital.In 2017, Dr. Clayson moved back home to Idaho and joined Regional Hearing and Balance Center as a pediatric audiologist. He became the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention audiologist in the Idaho Falls and Rexburg offices, testing infants referred by the hospital screening program. He now treats both adult and pediatric patients, performing diagnostic and hearing aid evaluations and fittings, as well as auditory processing evaluations.

Dr. Craig Allred was raised in Riverton, Utah. He studied Communication Disorders at Brigham Young University and received his Doctor of Audiology degree from Idaho State
University. Having grown up using hearing aids himself, he finds enjoyment in bringing the world of sound to both pediatric and adult patients. Dr. Allred loves spending time in the mountains, camping and hiking with his wife and three children.

Dr. Jim Lamb grew up in Star Valley, Wyoming, where he enjoyed many outdoor activities. Dr. Lamb received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Wyoming in Communication Disorders, with an emphasis in Audiology. Later, he earned his Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University. Dr. Lamb is one of two medical professionals in the Idaho Falls area who have been trained in and regularly perform balance evaluations of the vestibular system using videonystagmography (VNG) testing. This advanced testing system manufactured by balanceback™ uses infrared cameras inside goggles to record eye movement associated with dizziness. By using our advanced equipment systems and his expertise, Dr. Lamb works with your physician and therapist to identify which balance systems are working correctly, discover the cause of your dizziness, and develop a treatment plan to help you
take back control of your balance. In addition to balance testing, Dr. Lamb specializes in comprehensive audiological diagnostics and the treatment of hearing disorders using the latest hearing instrument technology.

Dr. Zackary Hale received his bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education and his master’s degree in Audiology from Utah State University. He went on to earn his Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University. Dr. Hale is an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, where he serves as an
audiologist in a Medical Support Unit. Dr. Hale has been working at Regional Hearing and Balance Center since 2002, and is fluent in Spanish. He specializes in providing a wide array of audiological services, including comprehensive hearing evaluations, specialized audiological diagnostic testing, industrial
audiology services, videonystagmography balance evaluations and pediatric hearing testing. Dr. Hale is an expert in the programming, fitting and maintenance of digital hearing devices to meet the hearing needs of the patients he serves. Dr. Hale is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, has earned a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and is a member of the Military Audiology Association. He maintains audiology licensure in the states of Idaho and Wyoming.
