Meet Janice Florence
Janice Florence, of Suwanee, GA, is the latest recipient of the Campaign for Better Hearing’s Give Back Program. She first purchased her hearing aids from HearingLife in 2015. She greatly relies on her aids; however, recently they have deteriorated and need replacing. Janice has had cancer three times since 2020, two surgeries, and seven months of chemo treatment. In November 2022, she had reoccurrence of cancer in two areas of her body and can now no longer receive chemo due to the damage done in previous treatments. She also had a stroke as well as a brain tumor.
She currently works as an insurance adjuster and is enrolled in online schooling. Janice has little income to support herself due to her ongoing medical issues. Despite her health problems, Janice is a beautiful, positive spirit that inspires our Hearing Care Providers every day. HearingLife felt she was a deserving recipient for the Give Back Program. She looks forward to being able to communicate better during meetings or phone calls and going for a walk while listening to music.
