Meet Mickey Parks!
Mickey Parks is our Scottsdale, Arizona recipient. Mickey and his wife came in to our Scottsdale clinic with their daughter and were distraught that we were unable to fix his eBay hearing aids that he has been using without earmolds because he could not afford to buy both the eBay hearing aids as well as earmolds. He had been sticking the tubing in his ears with a temporary foam EM even though he had a profound hearing loss.
They stated that without his hearing, he is unable to work and without being able to work they will never be able to get him new earmolds let alone be able to afford new hearing aids. That’s why the team at HearingLife Scottsdale, AZ were pleased to present him with new hearing aids and help him hear better than he has in 15 years.
Mickey has two adoptive kids that he is most looking forward to being able to hear again without having to use other people as his ears. Mickey loves music and is excited to be able to hear the beat better. Having new hearing aids also opens the opportunity for him to look at new job opportunities aside from his scooter rental fleet.
