Meet George Muldrow
George Muldrow has been customer of the Garner, NC HearingLife office since 2009. In 2015, he was finally able to purchase a pair of hearing devices. George tried to purchase new devices three years ago, but just couldn’t afford them. He had to return them and make do with his old devices. That’s why the team at HearingLife in Garner, NC was pleased to present him with a pair of free hearing aids.
Due to a critical accident when his lawn care and small engine repair business workshop caught fire, George thought he had lost his remaining hearing. It turned out that his existing devices were badly damaged. One device was completely gone, and the other was barely working. With COVID-19 and his injuries, he became more and more isolated, being unable to communicate with family and friends. He wasn’t able to listen to the television, and since he had to quarantine to prevent infection, he could not communicate with his children and grandchildren.
George and his wife, Kathryn, are thrilled that he can hear again and can now participate in life! And they are extra happy not to have to try and replace batteries any longer.
