Meet David Burrowbridge
Sixty-nine-year-old David has been suffering from Hearing Loss since he was five years old. Throughout his life, David has only ever had one hearing aid, never consistently over time, and never a pair for both ears at the same time. His level of hearing loss has made simple things in his life very difficult, including having conversations with people with higher-pitched voices.
“I feel like I am in stereo now.”
When David learned that he would be receiving a pair of free hearing aids through the Campaign for Better Hearing’s Give Back program, he was overjoyed. He feels confident that the new hearing aids will positively change his life. David enjoys playing pool at a local bar, but always left when live music started because he could never hear it clearly. Now, David looks forwarding to staying for the band and enjoying music along with everyone else.
David says he has been waiting sixty-four years to hear like this.
